Please know that we believe strongly in PRE- SERVICE CONSULTATIONS, and that our online booking service in no way replaces or alters this facet. As with making a telephone appointment, you are reserving a stylist's time for a specific function. However, after your in salon consultation, a clearer picture may emerge which may cause you to want to ammend or exclude some of your booked services, or even add others too your original booking. In such cases your credit card (currently unavailable)will be credited with the full value of your unused services (less an admin & booking fee), or, in the case of additional services which you may have during your visit, the balance may be settled in salon.

OUR NAIL TECHNICIANS ARE EXTREMELY BUSY. IF YOUR BOOKING IS LESS THAN 2 WEEKS AWAY, THEN SELECTING THE "ONLY" OPTION (above), MAY LIMIT YOUR CHANCE OF GETTING A NAIL APPOINTMENT WITH YOUR HAIR. "NO PREFERENCE" OR "NP" BUT MY 1ST CHOICE IS.." MAY PROOVE TO BE MORE VIABLE FOR YOU.

STRAIGHTENING

MANDATORY SERVICES: While we appreciate and acknowledge your right to select & book whichever services you wish, there are certain services to which other mandatory services are attached. As professionals we are concerned not only with providing our clients with wonderfull new looks and styles, but also with ensuring that the condition of our clients hair remains in, or is transformed in to, OPTIMAL CONDITION. All mandatory services relate to targeted pre, or post service treatments, which are applied to the hair. These treatments are linked to serious chemical services such as Perming, Straightening, and 3-4 shade lightening as well as colour corrections. If your quote reflects a higher price than anticipated, check for an attached mandatory service.

 

PLEASE NOTE:

 

Your priority booking on this page is for Hair Services. All "Extra's" services will be added to your booking if they are available on the date, and at the time(s) which you have chosen. If they are not available, your hair reservation will be booked regardless.

BOOKINGS TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

 

We currently do not accept credit cards or any form of online payments for our booking services, except for V.I.P. Bookings which require a reservations deposit which is outlined under the terms and conditions on our V.I.P. Bookings page. As we grow and incorporate bookings for professionals outside our environment we may choose to implement credit card and online shopping cart facilities.

 

As a hairandbeauty.co.za client choosing to book on line, there are certain factors of which you should be aware.

 

ADVANCED TIMES

Due to a.) the time it takes for us to confirm your booking, as well as b.) the availability of the professional(s) which you choose to book with, we advise you to make your bookings at least 3 to 4 Days in advance of your desired date. Should you require a date which provides us with less notice, we will do everything possible to secure this booking but cannot gaurantee availability.

 

PRIVACY

Even though we currently do not accept credit card information, we still require you to present us with personal information as it pertains to your booking. Please take the time to familiarise yourself with our privacy policy, as this will help you to understand what information we collect and how we use it.

SECURITY

At such a time that we implement ecommerce facilities, we will use industry standard SSL security technology and certificates to maintain your privacy while booking online, and with financial transactions.

BOOKING OVERVIEW

Booking your hair appointment with us online is essentially no different to making a regular telephone booking, and should be handled the same way by you, with regards to cancelations, ammendments and providing us with advanced notice of any changes.

BENEFITS

Aside from the obvious benefits of getting profiles of our professionals, and comprehensive information about our environment, prices, services and philosophies, as opposed to going "blindly" in to a salon you don't know, and getting whoever is available to do your hair, online booking enables us to ensure a great appointment for you. By knowing your preferences, and hair profile we are able to streamline our service to you. The benefits of attaching makeup, nails and transfers to your booking, are additional features which ensure an added convenience for you.

BOOKING FOR OTHERS

Whether you're a Parent booking for your Child, Secratary booking for your Boss, treating someone special, or merely making an appointment for your spouse, our booking page will enable you to do this easily. When booking for another be sure to enter all the relevant information about their hair, and enable the "booking for another " option. We currently only book one person at a time.

MORE THAN ONE PERSON/CONSECUTIVE BOOKINGS

Should you desire to visit the salon with another person, but have not been able to get consecutive bookings, please email us at bookings@hairandbeauty.co.za Include the following information: Your Reservation number (for reference), Your Names, Your times and Dates, Services booked , your Professional and Your Venue. Also include a new / alternative set of the booking dates/times which you may be convenient for you.

In such cases we will choose to contact you telephonically to rearrange your bookings. All online benefits will still apply.

CANCELATIONS

We know and accept that any day can bring unforseen circumstances with it. Some good, some bad. We also appreciate that when such circumstance arise it is not always possible to avoid missing appointments. If this occurs with you on the day of your booking, please let us know as soon as possible to your booking, even if in less than a few hours. Please phone us or email us. It will be appreciated.

What we dont understand or appreciate, is the failure to cancel or show up for an appointment, or arrive late with out informing us, under normal circumstances. Many booking services require compensation for time and business lost, in such cases. Since we do not require credit card authorisations from our clients, and thus do not retain funds which have been prepaid, we instead reserve the right to discontinue our relationship, and the providing of any future services with/to such individuals.

CANCELATIIONS ARE STRICTLY 24 hours prior to your appointment, and should be adressed to cancelations@hairandbeauty.co.za

 AMENDMENTS

We provide a limited online service, and as such, do not provide live database linked, or telephonic ammendment services.For amendments please email us at ammendments@hairandbeauty.co.za  no less than 48HOURS prior to your appointment. Include the following details about your existing booking in your email:

Your reservation number, Your Names, Booking Date, Booking time, Services, Extras, Your Professional, and Venue.

Also include your new preferred dates and times, as well as services, should you desire to change them. It may proove more expediant for you to simply contact the salon or, in the case of makeup, the artist telephonically to make any ammendments. Telephonic amendment and cancelations must be made no less than 24 HOURS prior to your appointment. The contact numbers in South Africa, for Hair and Beauty salons and freelance professionals, will be sent to you after your initial booking.

 

After recieving your email we will try to reserve your ammended dates, times and services. Sould we manage to reserve your new times/dates we will send you a confirmation email to inform you of this. This mail will secure your new booking. It will also include a new reservation number. Please double check this your ammended details to ensure that they are correct. Should we not be able to amend your booking, we will email you with this information. The choice to cancel or keep your original booking is then up to you.

IMPORTANT: hairandbeauty.co.za is NOT your service provider, this website is merely a booking agent FOR your service provider. The purpose and function of this website is to market, advertise and book the services of skilled professionals for your pleasure and convenience, as well as provide you with special rates and offers from the service proffessionals featured on this site. ONCE YOUR BOOKING HAS BEEN SECURED BY US WITH YOUR SERVICE PROVIDER, AND ONCE YOU YOU ARRIVE AT YOUR SERVICE PROVIDERS PLACE OF BUSINESS FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT, ALL FURTHER QUERIES, BUSINESS & CONSUMER ARRANGEMENTS, CONCERNS, COMPLAINTS, SERVICE RELATED QUESTIONS, OR ENQUIRIES WILL BE BETWEEN YOU AND YOUR SERVICE PROVIDER. This website does not process or handle post appointment queries or complaints.

We do not accept any any liability for reservation changes, no shows, or last minute cancelations of your bookings, by the businesses or service providers that you are booked with, nor do we accept any responsibility for ammended, or changed prices and service rates which are advertised and presented on or website. We reserve the right to ammend or change special offers, prices, and booking benefits and vouchers at any time, without notice.

 

While we take care to book service providers which we believe offer a reliable and professional service, and are concerned with your satisfaction, it is up to you to assess the service philisophies, profiles and conditions in this site, attached to our service providers {Professionals), as well as our website and choose, based on our website  content, whether or not to use these professionals, or our services.
